Saskia worked primarily with Pulp between 1982 and 1983. On the It, LP, and the single “Everybody’s Problem,” she provides the background vocals.
She frequently contributed background vocals at Pulp gigs in 1983. She can be seen in Pulp’s They Suffocate At Night music video from 1986.
Jarvis’s sister was on Richard Hawley’s Late Night Final album in 2001. She provided background vocals on the song “The Light at the End of the Tunnel.”
In the 2002 documentary film Made in Sheffield, she and her brother discuss the formation of Pulp and the Sheffield music scene in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
She recorded a demo in 1984 to start a solo career. On the demo, Jarvis plays guitar as well.
