There is no news about John Gentry’s death, and hence there is no obituary for him. However, he was severely injured when the car exploded.

Investigators focused on John’s girlfriend, Judy Buenoano, after he was nearly murdered in a firebombing incident. They quickly concluded she was linked to other mysterious deaths.

Gentry had serious internal injuries, and “bits of shrapnel were stuck to his body from head to toe.” Police investigated Gentry’s automobile and determined that dynamite had been hidden in the trunk and that the explosion was not an accident.

“It appears that the automobile had been wired with wires via the tail light so that when the tail lights went on, the vehicle exploded.” According to investigators, they “knew immediately then that it was an attempted murder.”
