Talking about Lorette Swit’s kids and family, she was born to Lester and Nellie. She graduated from Pope Pius XII High School in Passaic in 1955. She also attended Montclair’s Katharine Gibbs School, where she graduated in June 1957. Her first job was as a stenographer in Bloomfield.
She studied theatre in Manhattan, New York, under Gene Frankel, whom she considered her acting mentor.
She went to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts as well. She is of Polish descent and is of American nationality.
