Angela McCraw-Hester, 38, was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of release after serving 25 years for causing the death of Annastasia Hester, 34, according to Multnomah County District Attorney Mike Schmidt, but the photo is still unavailable.
By pleading guilty to one count of second-degree murder, McCraw-Hester admitted that she unlawfully and willfully entered Ms. Hester’s residence and killed her.
Based on the evidence gathered during the investigation, law enforcement concluded that McCraw-Hester left her home in the 12000 block of Southeast Ramona Street in Portland, Oregon, with Ms. Hester’s ex-husband, and drove to Ms. Hester’s apartment complex in Gresham.
McCraw-Hester presumably entered Ms. Hester’s ground-floor apartment by removing a window-mounted air conditioning unit and a cinder block when she arrived at the apartment complex.
