The couple first met with each other at their friend’s wedding and fell in love at first sight.
They began dating afterward and got married on 19 May 2007.

Lena filed for divorce on 20 July 2012 in the Los Angeles County Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences.
Their divorce was finalized on 26 December 2013.
