Previously, the allegations of physical abuse by the artist stained his relationship with his then-girlfriend, Angelica/Andrea Ggx (@lagigird), which was fraught with scandal.
According to sources, Angelica stated that DJ Akademiks abused her at the start of their relationship. Later, their relationship became public after she claimed to have proof of the abuse and threatened the musician with physical harm and intimidation. And according to his ex-girlfriend, the basis for the breakup was the rapper's passive-aggressive approach. Angelica previously revealed in an Instagram/IG Live session that her ex-boyfriend was verbally and physically violent. She also said that the rapper was dominating and frightening.
Angelica/Andrea Ggx alleged at the start of their relationship that DJ Akademiks assaulted her and that he was not interested in a relationship with her. She allegedly threatened the musician with physical assault and intimidation prior to the alleged abuse. As a result, the rapper's friends and fans suspected her of assaulting the woman. Nonetheless, Andrea claims to have proof of the assault and that her partner cheated on her.
