Jae Crowder’s parents are Corey Crowder and Helen Thompson.
His father is an American former professional basketball player. Throughout his NBA career (1991-1995), he played for the Utah Jazz and San Antonio Spurs. He was a guard-forward from Kentucky Wesleyan College. After his NBA career, he later played in Italy, France, Spain, and Israel.
On 22 August 2017, Jae lost his mother to cancer. Further, a heart-touching letter to his late momma was composed by the Deseret News sports writer Eric Woodyard from an interview with him.
