Taku Chimwaza is 24 years old as of 2021. His specific date of birth, however, has yet to be revealed.
Taku relocated to Wollongong after moving from Zimbabwe at the age of 15 and playing in the NSW National Rugby Union Championships for the Illawarriors earlier this year.
In Nowra, the family’s first residence, Taku completed his education and began a successful rugby career. He admitted that he wasn’t particularly good at the sport when he first started, but he is keen to prove himself.
