In conclusion, no, the film isn’t a true story based on a script by Taylor Materne and Will Fetters, and Bo Cruz is not a real NBA player. Following the release of Netflix’s latest Adam Sandler film Hustle on Wednesday, June 8th, it has generated a storm in the media – swiftly becoming one of the streaming service’s most-watched films.
The comedy centers on down-on-his-luck basketball scout Stanley Sugerman (Adam Sandler) who uncovers an extraordinary player abroad and brings him home to play for his team, the Philadelphia 76ers, without informing them first.
