A video of a man confronting officer Ryan Kuehner about shooting his dog has emerged online. Eric Bacon and his wife Erica Hansen are devastated as they lose their three-year-old dog.

Erica said they discovered something was amiss with Apollo after finishing their yard work. Initially, they saw him coughing and foaming at the mouth, which made them think it was a snake bite.

They rushed it to the hospital but could not save it. When the x-ray was shown, the vet said that a pellet was lodged in its lungs. Since then, the family has contacted the St. Charles Police Department, Animal Control, and the Sheriff’s Office.
