Rusty French was arrested for killing 60-year-old food delivery personnel Pamela Rae Martinez.
According to the Glendale Police Department, Rusty has been detained and charged with the murder of Pamela Rae Martinez.
Martinez was tragically murdered on June 11 after making her final food delivery.
On June 11, just before 7:30 p.m., police received a call concerning an accident and arrived to find a woman driving who was not breathing.
Martinez was declared dead on the spot. Martinez had a picture of French sitting in his van next to her car on her phone.
On the other hand, the police authorities and other sources tell that Pamela’s phone might have more evidence of her murder.
French was interrogated when detectives showed the photograph Martinez had taken of him right before she passed away.
Although French told investigators it was indeed him in the photo, he maintained that he “must have passed out” at the time.
Ballistic tests proved that one of the handguns discovered by detectives during their investigation of French’s house matched the one used in the shooting.
