Singer Jacquees drew extra attention when he surprised his mother, Rosie Broadnax, with a gift of $100,000 in bundled bills, which he spilled on the dance floor of her wedding.
Miss Rici’s 24-year-old singer-songwriter, full name Rodriquez Jacquees Broadnax, begins a video on Instagram with a preamble at the mic about his love for his mother, Rosie Broadnax.
The video pans to him on the dance floor with a large fabric bag and a Louis Vuitton duffel, which he initially tosses hard on the ground as he adds that he wants to make sure that the pair will be ‘set’ up.
Then, to the sound of cheering and ovation, Jacquees unzips the duffel bag, scoops it up, and rains bundles of cash onto the floor.
After dropping the wad of cash, the musician wraps his arms around his mother and encourages her to ‘do something for yourself,’ before moving to the groom, Bobby Thompson, and slapping and hugging him.
