Rima Tahini, a native of Freetown, Sierra Leone, was born on May 30, 1993. Growing up, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tahini, nurtured her, but no information regarding Rima’s siblings is available.
Born in Sierra Leone to a Lebanese father and a Sierra Leonean mother, Rima experienced a tumultuous childhood marked by the ten-year civil war that erupted in Sierra Leone the year she was born. As refugees, her family had to relocate frequently, leading Rima to grow up in various cities and countries. Remarkably, by age seven, she had already acquired proficiency in four languages.
Rima Tahini pursued her academic goals at Brandeis University in Massachusetts while studying business and economics. She worked hard and achieved the highest distinction of summa cum laude upon graduating.
