George Trosley’s racist controversy commenced after some NFT buyers of his tokens witnessed some bizarre cartoons from the American cartoonist.
The horribly racist cartoons dated back to 1970 with one significant image showing some Black people being handcuffed and the public shouting from the crowd saying “Brutality” while the arrested one complaining about their wrist being hurt.
His other horrendous cartoons showcased the general mass being dragged by a vehicle with a rope tied to their necks.
After Elijah Wood, who purchased the NFTs from George Trosley some week prior, dumped all his tokens at low prices, seeing the racist imagery of the creator, fans all around mocked the channel in NFT for posing a falsified image.
Although George’s son addressed the issue stating that the horrible designs were not aimed with moral disregard but he asked for a general apology and promised an amendment in his further works.
