Julian’s parents owned Adrian’s Restaurant for 28 years, and it was a popular Truro destination.
He scrubbed dishes, cooked behind the line, waited tables, and oversaw workers for 14 seasons while growing up in the restaurant.
Julian earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy and community health from New York University.
There he served as president of the undergraduate student government and pioneered a community-based HIV screening and prevention program.
Furthermore, Julian began his start in public campaigning when he was 16 years old. He coordinated a student-led initiative to fully fund quality education in local public schools at town meetings in Brewster, Eastham, Orleans, and Wellfleet.
