Jon Frankel is a New York native who grew up in the city. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science from Syracuse University.
He began his career as a radio producer for Bob Costas and subsequently moved on to become a producer at NFL Film.
Later, the correspondent Frankel relocated to South Florida to work as a sports broadcaster in the area. As a correspondent for Good Morning America, Frankel made the transition to national television.
He was also placed on general assignment for several years on various shows and networks, including ABC World News Tonight and Nightline.
Moreover, Frankel also likes preparing for and competing in marathons, triathlons, and Ironman contests in his spare time.
