Jessi Goei was born on Long Island, New York, and reared in Wilmington, North Carolina, where she worked in community theater. She soon decided to follow her passion of becoming an actor after seeing her performance.

Goei graduated from high school at the age of sixteen.

She learned to play the violin privately as a child, following the Suzuki Method curriculum.

Jessi likes playing the violin, dancing, and singing, as well as spending time with her friends and working at church.
