Jordan Lyles is yet to tie the knot. He has also not officially declared his relationship. Thus it is still meaningful to claim he is single. At the time of writing, he does not even have a child.
Lyles was selected with the 38th overall pick in the 2008 Major League Baseball draft by the Houston Astros. Lyles pitched in the Rookie-level Appalachian League after signing, striking out 64 batters in 49+23 innings.
Lyles was ranked the Astros’ top pitching prospect by Baseball America in 2010. He played in the All-Star Futures Game that season.
Houston bought the contract of Lyles on May 28, 2011. On May 31, he made his debut start for the Houston Astros at Wrigley Field.
