In 2016, when they were both attending Baylor University, Jarrett and Kennedy were introduced.

Jarrett was considered the best quarterback at the college, and Kennedy was the daughter of the owner of the Houston Rockets. After dating for three years, Jarrett made the big move and popped the question to Kennedy. Thus, a new athletic power couple was born.

In addition to her contacts in the NBA, Kennedy played soccer for Baylor University during her time there. She worked in a profession that very well might have landed her a job in the sports media when she wasn’t out on the field scoring goals. Kennedy received her education at the university level in media and public relations. The state of Texas, where Kennedy spent her childhood, is where she developed her lifelong love of football.

According to 247 Sports, Jarrett popped the question to Kennedy in July 2018, when they shared the news on their social media platforms. The QB warned Kennedy and the press for a long time that this would eventually occur. 

In 2019, the couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony with a cake decorated with Jarrett’s jersey as the centerpiece.
