Isaac Burton is not included in Wikipedia, but Netflix’s ‘Bad Sport: Hoop Scheme’ digs in the point-shaving scandal that led to a lot of conspiracy in the NCAA in the 1990s.
The scheme involved players from Arizona State University who were later convicted for their part in it. Stevin involved Burton into the fold while few others were also involved.
Isaac took $4300 for the agreement he had with Stevin and then used it to buy car accessories, clothes, and jewelry. He was lured as his childhood was filled with lacks.
He mentioned how he did not have any money in his pocket. He said he was a child from the streets and added he had not seen more than $100.
Easy money comes and goes; just because Burton wanted to make easy bucks, he ended up ruining his career and being caught like Stevin.
Benny Silvan, a New York native, frequently traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada, to bet on sports, and he was the mastermind behind the history-making scandal.
