Holly Roehl Kammerer is best known as the wife of Doug Kammerer, a Washington, DC-based meteorologist.
She is also a social activist and an advocate for environmental protection and a contributor to various charities that support sick children.
Holly Roehl Kammerer’s pageant career took off in 1990 when she won the title of Miss Georgia Teen. Later that year, she placed second runner-up in the Miss Teen USA pageant.
Later she changed her career from beauty pageants to reporting. On the job, she met her current husband, Doug Kammerer. Doug worked as a weather forecaster at the same station that Holly worked.
