Nakita Johnson’s husband’s name is Eric Jonson. They got married in 2007 and were blessed with three children.

Eric Johnson is the 60th mayor of Dallas, Texas, and is an American lawyer and politician. From 2019 till the present, he has held the role.

He went to Greenhill School and graduated in 1994. He enrolled at Havard University, where he lived at Cobot House. 

He formerly served as a Democrat in the Texas House of Representatives. In addition, he represented District 100 in the Texas cities of Dallas and Mesquite.

Shortly after graduating from law school, the mayor was admitted to the Texas State Bar in November 2003. Furthermore, in Dallas, Texas, he formerly served as Of Counsel for Andrews Kurth Kenyon and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe. He is also a partner at Locke Lord LLP, an international law firm.

He has sworn in as a Texas House of Representatives member on April 20, 2010. Furthermore, he took the oath of office to fill a vacant seat won in a special election.

After finishing the term that was left unfinished, he was re-elected uncontested in the November elections of 2010 and 2012. He’s been re-elected three times in succession since then, in 2014, 2016, and 2018.

He also founded and headed the Young Texan Legislative Caucus (TLC). This program focuses on transportation, education, water, infrastructure, and other essential issues to young Texans.
