Rohiqa Chagla, the granddaughter of lawyer M.C. Chagla and the daughter of attorney Iqbal Chagla, is the wife of Mistry.

Iqbal Chagla has planned Cyrus Mistry’s course of action in the legal dispute with Tata Sons. As a result, Firoz and Zahan Mistry, the couple’s two sons, were born.

Mistry is an Indian permanent resident and an Irish citizen (having acquired Overseas Citizenship of India). However, according to a news article in The Independent, an Irish daily, Mistry sees himself as a world citizen.

He was a director of Tata Power Co. Ltd. till September 18 2006, and Tata Elxsi Limited from September 24 1990, to October 26 2009.
