Hansie Cronje died in a plane crash in 2002 leaving his wife, Bertha Cronje, a widow. Later, she married Jacques Du Plessis, a financial auditor, in 2003.
Bertha married a year after the death of her late husband, Hansie. They exchanged her vows in a private ceremony which was attended by Hansie’s parents and siblings as well.
