Michael did undergo a weight loss, but it was not due to any illness.

In an interview with the Grio’s Chris Witherspoon, the Seven Pounds star revealed he had to shed some weight for a movie.

He further stated that he had to lose around 20 pounds for the role of his character in the movie named About Last Night.

Earlier this year, Micheal did look a bit slimmer than his usual body figure, but the difference was not that massive to worry his fans.
