Reilly Opelka’s parents are his father, George Opelka, and his mother, Lynne Opelka.
Reilly was born on August 28, 1997, in St. Joseph, Michigan. He moved to Palm Coast, Florida with his parents at the age of four years old. He started playing tennis at 12 years old after he started training USTA in Boca Raton.
Opelka won the 2015 Junior Wimbledon defeating Mikael Ymer in the finals. He also beat then Junior World Number 1 Taylor Fritz en route to the final and they are now best friends. Reilly was the best man at Fritz’s wedding.
