Niki Zenfaya is of Indonesian nationality by birth and her family is also from Indonesia as per her biography.
She was born and raised in Jakarta and went to a local high school to study elementary education before joining Lipscomb University to study music.
Similarly, she began her career in music starting on social media by posting short videos of herself singing and doing karaoke. Niki usually released covers of old songs she used to appreciate as a kid, such as Polaroid Boy.
Zefanya relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 2017 to pursue a degree in music at Lipscomb University.
As an artist with the American mass media business 88rising, she recorded two singles, “See U Never” and “I Like U.” In May 2018, she released the song “Vintage” as the first single from her debut extended play, Zephyr.
