Kiersey Clemons was born in the United States, in the town of Pensacola. She relocated to Redondo Beach, California, with her biracial parents when she was 12 years old.
Her father is of African ancestry, while her mother is of European ancestry. As an outcome, Kiersey is of mixed ethnicity. Kiersey has had a deep desire to act since she was a kid.
She decided to pursue a career in the entertainment industry because her parents also were supportive. She had always been a smart and curious child.
Kiersey also joined a local theater, took voice training, and learned to model. When she was 16, she was hired in her first television role, a cameo appearance on Disney Channel’s Shake it Up.
