Amari Amery was born to her father Andre Avery while the identity of her Filipino mother remains a mystery. Her father was also a coach to her in the initial days of her career.
During her interview with Golf Digest, Avery said that her dad used to sign her up for the tournaments as Tigress Avery. However, she didn’t like it as she wanted to be Amari, not Tigress.
Amari has already established herself as one of the top-ranked girls in the American Junior Golf Association. Avery was just three years old.
