Sarma Melngailis is most likely in the United States presently, living a free woman’s life; however, her husband Anthony is most likely in prison.
She and her rescue dog Leon currently dwell in Harlem. Leon, whom she obtained from Brooklyn’s Sean Casey Animal Rescue.
She is, however, currently subletting her Harlem apartment and staying with a friend in the neighborhood. She intends to leave New York City to complete her memoir.
She told the New York Post, “It’s easier to live peacefully outside of the city.”
Sarma told the New York Post that she still wants to reopen her restaurant in New York, saying, “I would open the same restaurant in the same location in a heartbeat if there were some fantastic opportunity.”
After serving her sentence, she was released from prison. In her docuseries’ Bad Vegan’, she can be seen.
It appears that viewers will hear a story from the woman herself. Many questions remain unanswered, but this series will undoubtedly spark numerous social media debates.
