Shaun Gayle was married to his wife named Rhoni Reuter.
On October 4, 2007, Rhoni Reuter, who was seven months pregnant with Gayle’s child, was shot and murdered at home, along with her unborn daughter.
On March 3, 2009, a 52-year-old Chicago woman, Marni Yang, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in the killing of Gayle’s girlfriend, Rhoni Reuter, at Reuter’s Deerfield condominium.
Marni Yang is said to have been wearing a disguise when she shot and killed Rhoni Reuter in a jealous passion.
Marni Yang was convicted of first-degree murder in March 2011 for this homicide.
Gayle had previously indicated that she was not a suspect in the homicide, according to Deerfield police.
The cops were looking for a male adolescent who was spotted fleeing the area.
