Faded, or as most people call it, “No Filter” was sung by B1. The music video for the rap melody came out on April 28, 2018. It has garnered 5.3 million views on Youtube.

As a part of the No Filter challenge, people first share a picture of their face with makeup and filters. As the beat hits, the screen transitions into a make-up-free snap.

In mid-2021, the remixed version surfaced on the web. People loved the fast rap, especially the ‘send me a picture, duh with no filter’ line. The TikTok challenge made it viral on the internet.

There are compilations of the No Filter trend on Youtube too. People have begun to remake the long-lost TikTok challenge. We may see a rebirth of it very soon.
