Diane Downs, after the conviction of attempting to kill her children and killing one of them, got sentenced to life in prison. She was arrested on February 28, 1984.
Her own child Christie after regaining her speech, the facts became clear. When asked who shot her, the girl replied simply, “My mom.” Diane tried to kill her children and shot herself in the arm.
She must be still serving her sentence behind the bar. She deserves it as she committed one of the serious crimes in the crime. 20/20 series, “My mother’s sin” shows she ran away from prison.
