Shaun Rae was diagnosed with a rare form of brain tumor disease when she was six months old. She underwent a recovery process to treat her illness.
Although her disease was treated, her mother worries that it may return. She informs her doctor she has been having headaches recently in an episode of the TLC series I Am Shauna Rae, which chronicles her life.
She said that she becomes nauseous and sensitive to light. The doctor then advises Shauna to see a neurologist ensure the migraines aren’t a sign of something more serious.
Her doctor clarified that she has been experiencing severe headaches, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound for the past few years, all of which are classic migraine symptoms.
Her mother also talks about how she was always worried about her daughter’s illness returning.
