Terri Gowdy is a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a former beauty queen. Terri chose the honorable profession of teaching over pursuing a career as a beauty queen.
Tern Dillard was born on September 11th, 1946, in New York City. Frank and Pat Dillard, her parents, raised her in a Christian family.
Terri grew up to be a stunning young woman who competed in numerous beauty pageants. She was a former Miss South Carolina beauty pageant second runner-up. She also donned the ‘Miss Spartanburg’ crown. Terri appeared to have a promising modeling career ahead of her.
Despite her triumphs in many beauty pageants, Terri Gowdy came to a crossroads in her life and decided to seek a different career route. Instead, she decided to pursue a career as a teacher.
As a teaching assistant, she began her career in education. Gowdy is currently employed as a first-grade teacher at Spartanburg’s Anderson Mill Elementary School.
