Mynett was previously married to Beth Jordan Mynett from 2012 until their divorce in 2019. Beth Mynett is the medical director and health services administrator of Washington, D.C. Department of Corrections.
Beth filed for divorce from Mynett in August 2019. According to court papers seen by FOX 9, Beth claimed Tim’s recent travel and work hours may have been “more related to his affair with Omar than his actual work commitments”.
According to the court filing, they separated around April 7 after Timothy confessed he was in love with Omar and reportedly gave “no other explanation for his sudden change of heart nor had he discussed being unhappy with their marriage.” The divorce was finalized in December 2019.
