Normani Kordei Hamilton was born to father Derek Hamilton and mother Andrea Hamilton on May 31, 1996, in Atlanta, Georgia.

The exact occupation of Normani’s father, Derek is unknown. However, Normani, in a recent interview, revealed that her father works nightshift. So, He might be doing a nightshift job.

Her mother, Andrea, is currently unemployed and is unable to do a job. Andrea is a breast cancer patient.

Andrea was actually diagnosed with breast cancer when Normani was just five years old. After getting the proper treatment, she recovered from it. 

Unfortunately, Andrea’s cancer returned after 19 years in October 2020. 

Andrea is now in recovery after her 2nd battle with breast cancer. She completed her last round of Chemotherapy back in April 2021.

Derek Hamilton and Andrea Hamilton have always supported Normani’s choice of career. Andrea always traveled with her between Houston(relocated residence after Hurricane Katrina) and Los Angeles for acting, singing, and dance auditions.

Normani, in a recent interview with Apple Music’s Ebro Darden, said that her father Derek is her biggest fan.
