Leyla Pierson, the baby’s mother, has also been charged with the baby’s death; she faces one count of damage to a child by criminal negligence.
Pierson told investigators that she observed the injuries on July 9 but did not take the youngster to the doctor.
She stated Gammage told her the kid struck his head on the crib, which was the end.
Leyla said that after the July 9 event, the infant became “more irritable than average normal baby, which she attributed to teething.”
In an interview on Wednesday, Brittany Pruitt, Logan’s aunt, said that she was taken aback by her nephew’s untimely death.
Pierson, the kid’s mother, posted a $5,000 bond, but Gammage remains in Ector County Jail after being detained on charges of harming a child. His bail has been set at $350,000.
