Shelly Harmon despite her confession, will be avoiding prison, per the court’s decision.
In March 2021, she pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of Pamela Pitts. According to the source, her body was found burned beyond recognition in a pile of trash in 1988, the same day she was reported missing. Reportedly, that day Harmon drove around Prescott looking for her and saying she’d kill her if she found her.
Moreover, as her 20 years in prison for fatally shooting her ex-boyfriend, Raymond F. Clerx was coming to the end, police started monitoring Harmon’s phone calls. However, the court decided that she will not be spending any more time in prison.
