During 2010, Jackson worked in television during the school-age years, appearing in the Asda commercial and several small roles. In 2012, Jackson joined the third generation of the teen drama Skins during its sixth series, in which he plays Alex Henley.
His professional theatre job came in 2013 with Kes’ production at Derby Theatre, where he played the central role of Billy Casper. Jackson also played the role of Jamie in Beautiful Thing in 2015.
