Robert Isom is well known as the President of American Airlines Group. He also happens to be the primary subsidiary, American Airlines. He is in charge of American’s operations, planning, marketing, sales, alliances, and pricing in this position.

Likewise, Isom formerly held the positions of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at American Airlines and US Airways. Before joining US Airways, he worked for GMAC, LLC, Northwest Airlines, and America West Airlines in senior executive operations and financial and commercial responsibilities.

He first started his professional career at Procter & Gamble. Isom graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and also a Bachelors of Arts degree in English, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
