Chris Martin was born and grew up in Whitestone in the Devon section of England to Anthony Martin and Alison Martin. Born on March 2nd in 1977, Chris is the oldest of five siblings. His father served as an accountant and his mother, a music teacher.
His affection in music was seen at a very early age during his preparatory education. That’s why he was shifted to Sherborne School in Dorset to pursue his music classes. There, he met Phil Harvey, the current Coldplay manager.
Chris completed his higher education from University College London (UCL), where he met his Coldplay band-mates Johnny Buckland and Will Champion.
