Peter Orszag has two marriages. He wed Cameron Rachel Hamill in his first marriage. Before getting divorced in 2006, they had two kids. In 2009, he had a child with Claire Milonas, his ex-girlfriend. He wed Bianna Golodryga, who was the co-host of ABC’s GMA Weekend at the time, in 2010. One boy and one daughter were born to them together. Peter Orszag is a Jew. In 2014, Peter Orszag also prevailed in a drawn-out, contested child support lawsuit.
Peter Orszag’s career began there as a macroeconomics lecturer at the University of California in 1999. He was also the Brookings Institution’s Deputy Director of Economics Studies. During the Clinton administration, he served as a Special Assistant to the President for Economic Policy from 1997 to 1998. As a senior economist, he founded Sebago Associates, a consulting firm. From January 2007 to November 2008, he served as CBO.
Barack Obama declared that Peter Orszag would be his choice to lead the Office of Management and Budget on November 25, 2008. This department of the White House is in charge of developing the federal budget and evaluating the success of government initiatives.
He joined Citigroup in 2011 after departing from the Obama administration. He held the positions of Chairman of the Financial Strategy and Solutions Group and Vice Chairman of Corporate and Investment Banking.
Orszag then became the managing director and vice-chairman of investment banking at Lazard. He has been the CEO of Financial Advisory since 2019.
