Patrick Stump was born (27 April 1984) and brought up in Illinois, the United States, hence making him an American citizen by birth. Patrick was born to mother Patricia Stump, who was an accountant by profession and father David Stump, who was a folk singer by profession. Patrick went to ‘Glenbrook South High School’ for schooling.
At the age of only 8, Patrick’s parents ended up in divorce. At a very young age, Patrick has developed a keen passion for music and singing. As Patrick grew up, he started idealizing the legendary singers like Nat King Cole, Michael Jackson, and Elvis Costello.
