Jay is a native of Atlanta and a die-hard Georgia Bulldog with a proven track record of achievement. He has been recognized for his leadership and community service by three US Presidents.

In 2012, Jay was one of eight Americans feted at the White House as a “Champion of Change: Following in the Footsteps of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.”

Jay was named to the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia Trend Magazine’s “40 Under 40 Best and Brightest Leaders of the Future” lists after graduating from Leadership Georgia, Leadership Atlanta, and the Regional Leadership Institute.

He is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, the 100 Black Men of Atlanta, the Whitney M. Young National Community Service Medallion, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drum Major for Service Award.
