Rachel Hendrix’s age is 36 years old, and her date of birth is December 13, 1985.

Hendrix was born and reared in Alabama and is most recognized for her breakout role in the indie thriller October Baby. While studying photography at the University of Montevallo, she met filmmaker Kris Kimlin (director of Mom’s Night Out, Coffee Shop, and Woodlawn). 

She decided to pursue acting more seriously after accepting the prominent role in his debut short film, “Letting Go.” Jon and Andy Erwin began developing a film and approached Hendrix, inviting her to take part designed specifically for her.

She accepted, and possibilities emerged as Hendrix received national attention for her debut in October Baby’s award-winning film, which she made in 2011.

With the second most outstanding per-screen average in the box office opening weekend, the film’s unusual grass-roots campaign stunned Hollywood.

The film established her acting career, and she hasn’t looked back since. According to the late Roger Ebert, Hendrix was “surprisingly capable in her first film role.”
