With a complete family name of Chelsie Florence Preston Crayford, Chelsie Preston was born to filmmaker Gaylene Preston and musician Jonathan Crayford in 1987.
Chelsie is native to Wellington, Newzealand. She first appeared in a water safety commercial at the age of four. The ‘Falling up’ actor, writer, and director were also cast by her mother in films while she was young.
Belonging to a showbiz family itself, she was inspired to graduate from Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School in 2008.
Preston has a sibling named Roger Sutton.
