Peyton Blitstein was a teenager from Aurora, Colorado. 

He was recently shot to death by a former Greenwood Village police officer. Peyton was just 17 years old. 

Blitstein was a student at Vista Peak and was planning to join the United States Air Force upon his graduation to become a fighter pilot according to CBS Denver. 

He is said to be a very friendly person and had many friends, he had quite a personality and socialized very easily with people. 

Peyton’s father recalls, he loved to share mozzarella sticks with him and he spent a huge amount of his time with his elder brother. He loved his grandmother very much and she was his world. 

He loved spending time with his grandmother watching television, they watched shows like ‘Murder, She Wrote’ together. 

Peyton’s death came as a shock for the family and his father even took a look at a small portion of the surveillance video available to learn about the cause of his death, which takes us to our next question.
