Promising ex-Olympian John Wright has not yet made up for Wikipedia.
During high school, Wright trained daily and became an all-state wrestler. After that, he joined the local college and was named an All-American.
Fortunately, John’s hard work took him to the Olympics where he won a gold medal as well. But it was taken away from him since he had taken drugs.
After that incident, Wright fell to his knees and could not forgive himself for that mistake. However, he restarted his journey and is currently a trainer at a high school where he previously studied.
Currently, the biopic made on his life, ‘The Last Champion’ is quite popular. He is recognized by many people for his struggles and hardships following his ban from the Olympics.
