The Brewer family is mourning the tragic loss of their beloved Matthew Barrett Brewer.
Describing him as their everything, the family reflects on Matt’s roles as a son, brother, cousin, nephew, friend, teacher, student, and an exceptional outdoorsman.
They also highlight his deep love for Miss Shelby and their two four-legged children, Beeze and Zeita.
His loving family, including Miss Shelby Fritscher and his parents Mary and Mark Brewer of Nashville, survived him.
Matt’s sisters Sarah Kate Hirst (Charlie, Louis, and Brewer) of Huntington Beach, CA, and Betsy Lane Raney (Aaron) of Nashville.
The family invites everyone to bid Matthew farewell at his Funeral Mass, which will take place at The Cathedral of the Incarnation on Friday, June 23, at 10:00 am, followed by an Irish Wake at their home in Nashville.
They suggest wearing sunglasses in his honor.
Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to The George Barrett/Matthew Barrett Brewer Scholarship Fund, c/o Spring Hill College, Mobile, AL.
